Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission is author's original work and is not plagiarised

Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript shall be original work and unpublished work of the Author(s).
  2. The article should have an Abstract of not more than 250 words.
  3. Authors must clearly mention under which category they are submitting:

      Submission Heads and Word Limit (excluding footnotes):

  • Long Articles: Between 4,000 to 6,000 words.
  • Short Articles/ essays: Between 2,000 to 3,000 words.
  • Case commentaries/ legislative comments: Between 3,000 to 4,000 words.
  1. A separate covering letter with the full name(s) of the author and co-author(s), designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript and contact information (email, phone, address, etc.) should be submitted by the corresponding author. Author(s) must ensure that neither their name, nor their contact details should be mentioned anywhere in the body of the manuscript.
  2. The manuscript should be in MS Word format (doc. or docx.)
  3. The body of the manuscript shall be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 along with single line spacing.
  4. For citations only OSCOLA will be accepted. Manuscripts not adhering to these requirements will not be reviewed.
  5. Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of three authors.
  6. Full names of all the author(s) along with their designation, contact number and email must be given.
  7. E-Certificates will be provided to the published Author(s).
  8. Each submission should be accompanied by declaration form. Each author and co- author shall fill separate declaration form .
